We have also Regulation published and recognized by the Board of High School and
Intermediate Education Uttar Pradesh under part I, The Intermediate Education Act, 1921 (united
provinces act no. II of 1921) The said institution was recognized by competent authority of
British
Government under Ch. XIV regulation -2 of Indian First Intermediate Education Act - 1921 ) in
which
the board has been working since 1919 as a recognized Education Board conducting examinations and
educational activities in India. The name of Board of higher Secondary Education- Delhi is
prescribed
in their regulation calendars from 1919-50, 1951-52. U.P. Government united provinces

year 1989 -2003 U.P. Government, We have also an executive order of dated: 8th July, 1995 (U.P.
Government gazette notification), and regulation Government of U.P.intermediate examination of the
year 2004-2005 of secondary education council (Board of High School and Intermediate Education),
regulation Government of U.P.intermediate examination of the year 2006-2008, regulation Government
of
U.P.intermediate examination of the year 2009-2010, regulation Government of U.P.intermediate
examination of the year 2013-14 accordingly.
We are also recognized and gazette by Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India New Delhi
wide
its gazette (1) 19th Jan. 1952 (2) 12th April, 1952 and (3) 09th Aug. 1952 in which clearly stated
that the passed out students of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Delhi and technical
Education
examination (three years Course) held by the such board are to be considered as eligible for
central
Government job. The board is working since 1919 and it was recognized by board of high school and
Intermediate Education, Uttar Pradesh by the Intermediate Education Act. 1921 (United Provinces
Act
No.II of 1921). An executive order passed by the hon’ble Governor of the United Provinces of Agra
Oudh
on the 30th Sept. 1921, and of the Governor General on the 10th Dec.1921 and was published under
section 81 of the Government of India Act on the 7th Jan. 1922. 12th April, 1952, the gazette
notification published by Ministry of Defence stated that in item no. 8 and Para no. (I) “The
Higher
Secondary Technical Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Delhi has been
eligible
for Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Examinations.”
As per The Gazette of India published on 10th March, 1962 by Education Department,
Government of India(An executive order), it is clearly stated on page no. 63, Para 9 (1) that,
"The
education institutions recognized by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Delhi shall be
deemed as
Institutions recognized by CBSE board." We have also An executive order of dated: 8th July, 1995
(U.P.
Government gazette notification, page no. 40, sub section 29 and 38) and Board of High School and
Intermediate Education Uttar Pradesh, Calendar 1960-62(Page No. 119 and 120, Sub Section 29 and 38
).
The Government Resolution no. F-115-R, 28, dated July 1, 1929 was amended from time
to
time. The secretary to the government of India, Ministry of Education was made its controlling
authority. Page no 7 of resolution defines the power and functions of the board and confers power
on
it to conduct examinations and grant educational certificates, to the examinations conducted by
the
board and to recognize the institutions for the purpose of its examinations. Page no 11 clause
(c),
(d), (e) and (f) confers power on the Board to make regulations in respect of matters enumerated
therein including the power of lay down the conditions under which the board may recognize the

As per The Gazette of India published on 10th March, 1962 by Education Department, Government of
India(An executive order), it is clearly stated on page no. 63, Para 9 (1) that, "The education
institutions recognized by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Delhi shall be deemed as
Institutions recognized by CBSE board."
The Board of Higher Secondary Education, Delhi had received letter from Haryana Vidhyalaya Shiksha
Board, Bhiwani letter no. 952 dated 22/09/2008 and collector of Kaithal letter no. 1129 dated
10/06/2008 correspondently, wherein it is clearly stated that Board of Higher Secondary Education,
Delhi is recognized by Haryana Vidhyalaya Shiksha Board, Bhiwani and collector of Kaithal.
We were already recognized by Board of Secondary Education, Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal which mentioned
in
Equivalency booklet no. 216 (revised up to January 2004) at Appendix ‘A’ and sr. no. 11.
Our BHSE Delhi boards name has stayed on number of 11 in the list of recognized board of M.P.

the higher secondary examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education Delhi” through Letter

ACA/8/C/Trav./49/1623 Delhi 2 of dated 16th Nov., 1949. Our board is included in correspondent
between
Ministry of Human Resource Development and Delhi University. Moreover, a file of the
correspondence
between Ministry of Education Govt. of India and hon’ble Registrar Delhi University is also
attached
herewith in which Delhi University file no. 59-78/49D-3 year 1949, hon’ble registrar has already
recognized our higher secondary examinations for higher studies.
